Genera 2008 - Energy and Environment International Trade Fair
Madrid, Spain
After Genera was held every two years, it has switched to a one-year mode. The fair showcases a cross section of energy sources and related industries and focused on the efficient use of energy and respect for the environment. Energy sectors covered by exhibitors at Genera are gas, crude oil, coal, waste, hydrogen, fuel cells and renewables. With around 140 PV exhibitors in 2007, it has been SpainĄŻs premier solar event so far.

Intersolar is Europe's largest trade fair for solar energy - both PV and solar thermal. The event, held annually, is mainly visited by professionals, but also by end-consumers. This is the first time Intersolar will be held in Munich. (2007: nearly 32,000 visitors, around 650 exhibitors).

 5. 23rd European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition (EU PVSEC)
September1-4, 2008 Valencia, Spain
The event is one of the worldĄŻs three big PV conference (together with the PVSEC in Asia and the IEEE PVSC in the US), but traditionally has the most visitors and the largest industry exhibition. (2007: nearly 520 exhibitors, around 12,000vistors).
